SourceSeer SCA SaaS passes CAICT trusted open-source governance tool assessment

October 16, 2024, the OSCAR Open Source Industry Conference was held in Beijing. During the conference, results of the Trusted Open Source series assessments were released. SoftSafe Tech’s open-source software composition analysis tool (SaaS version) passed the assessment by the Trusted Open Source Governance Tool (SCA).

The Trusted Open Source Governance Tool evaluation targets tools with capabilities in identifying components and analyzing security. It focuses on basic functions, technical support, ease of use, deployment, security, and compatibility.

SoftSafe Tech’s SCA provides features such as open-source software asset identification, SBOM, security risk analysis, license compliance analysis, and vulnerability alerts to help enterprises understand the components used in their software and related risks. License analysis results also need to be judged based on actual usage, modifications, and distributions.

This evaluation records SoftSafe Tech’s capabilities within the scope of the assessed area. SoftSafe Technology will continue to improve its products and services in line with enterprises’ needs for managing open-source assets and supply chain governance.
