SoftSafe Tech becomes a founding member of the OpenCenter compliance working group

SoftSafe Tech becomes a founding member of the OpenSource Compliance Working Group (OpenCenter) under China Communications and Information Technology Research Institute's Cloud Computing Open-source Industry Alliance. The group announced its founding members at the “Open Source Empowering Financial Innovation” forum on July 23, 2025, and held an award ceremony.

The OpenSource Compliance Working Group focuses on enterprise open-source system construction. It collaborates to address governance needs within open-source applications. For enterprises that use a large number of third-party components, identifying components, analyzing license obligations, and managing related risks are ongoing tasks in open-source governance.

SoftSafe Tech will leverage its experience in open-source software composition analysis, license compliance analysis, and risk management to participate in group exchanges. Future collaborations will involve core technology research, open-source protocol studies, and industrial cooperation.

This membership provides SoftSafe Tech with a channel for collaborative practices within the OpenSource Compliance Working Group, as well as a foundation for exploring open-source compliance management methods in real-world business scenarios.

Continued collaboration on open-source compliance

SoftSafe Tech will continue to participate in the OpenCenter open-source compliance working group, collaborating on discussions around identifying open-source components, license compliance, and risk governance. We aim to work with industry partners to advance practical practices for open-source governance.
